Double glazed windows and doors are standard for all Hortons Log Cabins of wall thickness 35mm and above. 28mm Log cabins come with single glazing as standard ( Upgrade is available). We fit your glass for free before delivery, unlike some of our competitors. Hortons cabin doors come with special security hinges which are also adjustable. It is not possible to unscrew our log cabin doors from their frame to gain access - we use special security hinges which are also fully adjustable. We can add extra doors and windows to any Hortons Log Cabin, call us for details & quotes. Minimum purlin size for Hortons log cabins is 70x140mm and no greater than 600mm apart for a very strong roof

2x3m Storage Shed
A very useful and extremely robust 2m x 3m storage shed. Log cabins can be used for many purposes including garden storage. They are in fact much more secure than a garden shed. This is because the walls are made of solid logs which interlock at the corners. There is no thin cladding that can be levered off the framework to gain entry.
Cabin Upgrades
There are certain upgardes that are advised if you are going to use this cabin as a storage shed. One of which is to upgrade the floor if there are going to be heavy point loads. This is commonly shelving with just 4 legs to store paperwork or books for instance, which is very heavy. Our 28mm floors are much stronger than even a modern house floor. Another good option is our damp proof membrane kit which stops rising damp to keep the interanl space drier.
