Sadolin  Superdec semi-opaque Wood Protection - in stock at the warehouse and available to buy

This excellent semi-opaque timber treatment is a water-borne, highly durable opaque finish for cladding and exterior joinery - ideal for our log cabins and garden buildings. Superdec opacity will vary across a piece of timber, depending on how much is absorbed by the various parts of the wood (even across the same piece of timber). Therefore, not only will you see the knots and grain showing through which gives different shades and opacity, but you will also see variations in the general colour.
Sadolin Superdec remains flexible over time and resists cracking, peeling and flaking.
Sadolin Superdec Satin can be applied to new and previously painted or stained surfaces, and is ideal for use where a complete change of colour is required by totally blocking out the colour underneath, or where the existing surface has become weathered and uneven in appearance.
To minimise resin and extractive discolouration of the coating (particularly with white and pale shades of Superdec) a blocking primer should be used.

Recommended usage - All exterior timber (except decking) where an opaque finish is required.

Coverage for each coat - up to 10 sq m per litre on planed softwood

Drying times-
Touch dry     1 hour
Recoat time after first coat     16 hours
