More and more people are now working from home and need an Insulated Garden Room to use as a Home Office. Our range of Twinskin log cabins and insulated framed buildings have been specifically designed for this purpose. Insulation fills these cavities in the walls. Electric cables can use this same cavity for a very neat and tidy solution to trailing wires or conduits. Insulation is also fitted within the roof and floor as well for all round warmth. Our standard Twinskin has a better thermal performance than a mobile home. This can be further upgraded to insulation values of a modern house built to the 2022 UK Building Regulations. This far exceeds nearly every other so-called "insulated" garden building on the UK market. And for very little extra cost.
This L shaped garden cabin has 2 rooms with 2 different specifications. The main insulated room is a 45+45mm Twinskin for use as an all year round office. The additional side store is a 45mm single skin for storing garden tools and machinery.
With the amount of insulation we use, the walls can be the equivalent thermal value of a solid wall which is much thicker. This not only saves internal space but also materials and therefore costs as well.
